Simulations of the Soil Evaporation and Crop Transpiration Beneath a Maize Crop Canopy in a Humid Area

Soil evaporation (Es) and crop transpiration (Tc) are important components of water balance in cropping systems. Comparing the accurate calculation by models Es Tc to measured has significant advances optimal configuration resource evaluation accuracy estimating consumption. To evaluate adaptation APSIM (Agricultural Production Systems simulator) calculating Nanjing, model parameters, including meteorological soil were from a two-year field experiment. The results showed that: (1) simulated was basically consistent with Es, regulated can effectively present whole maize growth period (R2 = 0.85, D 0.96, p < 0.001); (2) trend actual variation, but not as high 0.74, 0.87, 0.001), therefore, simulation process will be helpful humid area its application also could predict production fields Nanjing.
